In response to the overwhelming interest in the foundation’s on-line Directory of Alternative Healers, Our Weeping Angel Foundation has announced development of the nation’s first searchable database system devoted specifically to alternative healing.
“There is a real need for the alternative healing practitioners to be more visible and more accessible at a reasonable cost,” said Foundation President, John Hooper Dean. “This new system will allow us to promote alternative healing for both local practitioners in any city and for long distance healers who can work with clients in any geography.”
Users of the system will be able to search for alternative healers by name, by geographical area and by healing modality.
“Not only will this system create the first searchable database of alternative healers that we know of in the country, but it will also help us to more effectively promote these compassionate healers to a much wider audience,” said Dean. “We expect to have the new system up and running in the first week of October, 2008.”
Practitioners who would like to be listed in the new Directory can fill out an online registration form, including their contact information, healing modalities practiced and a brief detail of their unique talents or services. There is an annual registration fee of $30.00 for the listings plus $10 for long distance healers which will help the foundation to purchase the software enhancement and promote the Directory to the general public.
The foundation helps people in need to receive the alternative healing they seek and provides scholarship grants to students of the alternative healing arts.
